Rehoboth Trust, Chennai

Rehoboth is a charity organisation that provides shelter and rehabilitation facilities for abandoned and orphaned women with mental health issues. Mentally deranged and suffering Women and children that have been abandoned by their families and living in the footpath without a roof over their heads are picked up from the street and moved into this 3 storey Building for their health assessment. Appropriate treatments are given for the sick. There is a further need to separate sick people from healthy people. There are a total of 180 women here at this shelter.

The healthy and Rehabilitated amongst them are trained and given paid jobs in the Rehabilitation centre. They stitch huge jute bags using sewing machines. They have a large order from the industry.

Vision 2020 donated A$ 30,000 towards building and medical equipment.
